Class Description:

Part 1:  Learn parts of a sock & how to measure your foot.  Apply measurement to a pattern or knit from measurements without a pattern.  Practice toe-up cast on and compare increases.  Begin your actual sock at home on the yarn and sock size of your choice and knit to the beginning of the gusset.

Part2:  Knit Gusset and heel turn and be able to finish sock at home.

Materials for class:   DK or worsted weight yarn and appropriately sized 32 or 40 inch needles, removable marker.  Yarn is for practicing the cast-on a toe in class 

                              You will start your sock at home AFTER class with the yarn of your choice with the techniques learned in class.

Pre-requisites:  Must know how to knit, purl, increase & decrease - without assistance
