Tiny Things

What is it about tiny things that makes them so adorable, causing an otherwise rational person to do something, well…irrational? I asked myself this question when I saw Ysolda Teague had released her popularLiesl pattern in wee size, called wee Liesl. Obviously I was quite smitten with it as I immediately dove into my remnant skeins of Tosh Merino Light and cast-on. I don’t know what possessed me to do this since I have no friends that are pregnant nor have any little ones myself. It must be the tiny factor that blinded me from all logic and reason. So I forged ahead into making this wee sweater with no purpose other than to have created something adorable and tiny in the end. Wee Liesl might the first baby sweater in a long time that has made me immediately cast-on, but I have compiled a list over the years of tiny sweaters that I think are adorable, but more importantly, well-designed, smart and sophisticated.
