Spring Flowers, Cotton, Bamboo & Linen! I love this time of year. I can’t wait to see which flowers survived
the winter & to feel the sunshine again (and to stop paying the heating
bills!) Socks, socks, & SOCKS!! This is also a good time of year to plan your travel knitting. Socks
are always a good choice. Check out STEP from Austerman, infused with
Aloe & Jojoba as well as Strapaz, Sockotta, & Trekking. ONESKEIN,
a great book from Interweave Press, is the perfect companion for summer
traveling. Grab one skein of yarn and go!! Don’t forget to check out the guest instructors. Judy Pascale is offering some great classes in May and in June, Barbara Kerr will be teaching Knitting from A to Z where she offers a knitting technique for each letter of the alphabet (accompanied by a 16-page handout). A great class for beginners as well as advanced knitters.
SAVE THE DATESeptember 9 - We will be cruising the Hudson with Annie Modesitt, Plymouth Yarns and lots more watch for details. Annie will also be teaching a CROCHET class at the shop that day (before the cruise) I’ll be heading to The National Needlearts Association trade show in
June. |
